Summer Jo's gardens contain a wide range of herbs and flowers. We grow them for use in our restaurant and for sale, and because we think that beauty is a necessity.
The Herb Garden, framed by a rose arbor and a hedge of evergreens, with concentric rings of beds surrounding a central pond, contains both medicinal and culinary herbs. Informative labels make a walk through the Herb Garden an education in herbs as well as a relaxing after-dinner stroll.
Our Rose Garden and Rose Arbor and cut-flower beds provide flowers to adorn the restaurant. We like incorporating edible blossoms into the dishes we serve in the restaurant, but you can also buy our flowers at growers' market or in our Farm Stand.
